Bryan Denton captures both the complexities and daily life of those living in conflict and its aftermath with an unyielding commitment and intellectual curiosity. The care and commitment employed by Bryan resonates not only his exceptional images, but his spirit of humility and grace.

Bryan Denton is an award-winning freelance photographer based in Beirut, Lebanon. After graduating from New York University’s Tisch School of the Arts, focusing on Photography, and Middle Eastern and Islamic Studies, he began his career covering cultural issues and conflicts in the Arab world. Based in Lebanon since 2006, Bryan is a frequent contributor to The New York Times. He has also completed assignments throughout the Middle East, Africa, South East Asia, and Afghanistan for TIME, Newsweek, The Wall Street Journal, Vanity Fair Italy, Der Spiegel, Monocle, and Human Rights Watch.

In 2014 he was a participant in the World Press Photo Joop Swart Masterclass. Denton’s work has been recognized by Picture of the Year, The Chris Hondros Fund, The Magenta Foundation, Px3, Prix-Bayeux, Calvados, Foto8 and others.
